The LV hotel Morwell has gone back to its original name with good old fashion warmth, friendly hospitality, fabulous food and live entertainment for all ages in a safe environment.

Owners Russell Chambers and Jenny Dawson have brought the historical pub back to life with New chefs, New staff, An amazing atmosphere and a breath of fresh air to Latrobe Valley's night life.

The LV Hotel was commenced in 1957 and was officially opened in 1959, It quickly became "the local" for many residents of the town. Many locals have attended weddings, dinner dances and even corporate functions at the LV. Over the last 57 years we've seen the Latrobe Valley Hotel transform into many different venues catering for all. However Jenny and Russ saw the original potential and beauty in the building and couldn't resist turning it back into everyone's local bar.

Attracting local and not so local musicians to the stage, it's been very refreshing to have a venue available for all people to enjoy the raw talent Gippsland has available. This establishment is so inviting we've even seen published artists such as Sarah McLeod grace the stage with a personal up close acoustic session.

The New chefs have the bistro on fire delivering a smorgasboard of culinary delights. Using local Gippsland produce the LV never fails to set the table with everything from gourmet steaks, fresh seafood and everyones favourite Parma. Stop in for a quick lunch or book a table for your family night out, You wont be disappointed. The fabulous coffee is not to be overlooked if stopping in for your morning brew.

The LV offers a local bar area complete with pool tables and juke box, separate from the family friendly bistro. The Meals area also offers a bar and stage area for the occasional acoustic delight while dining. The massive Back room is where all the action comes to life on the stage with live bands cranking and a dancefloor for all those who can't resist shaking their rump. Upstairs is a fantastic function room available for all parties and can be fully catered.
